Import from Google
Importing Google Reviews into Tip Top Testimonials requires a Google Place Id. If you’ve set up your Google Business Profile as a Service Area Business then you will need to manually import your reviews by hand.
Go to Tip Top Testimonials’ settings page and enable the importer.
Enter your Google API Key and the Place ID that you want to import reviews from.
Click the Check button to verify the name of the Google Place.
Make sure you Save Changes when you’ve entered your settings.
Google Places API Key
The plugin makes periodic connections from your web server to Google’s servers, import the reviews. This is a server-to-server communication – no web browsers involved.
Restrict your API key based on IP Address (of your web server). This stage is recommended, but not essential. If you’re having difficulty getting the importer to work, try using unrestricted credentials while you track down the problem.
